Chloe and Yannick are Seripop, a silk screen artists duo. They began their careers creating band posters and more recently have moved to art prints and large installations. Last spring, I helped them prepare an install at Secret Project Robot. Later that year, they were part of the “Street and Studio: From Basquiat to Seripop” at the Kunsthalle Wien in Austria. Their art like Basquiat’s is beautifully raw and combines pop and punk sensibilities. I love everything they do. Many terrific prints are for sale at www.seripop.com.

He has assembled a group of master musicians including Cyro Baptista, Jamie Saft, Kenny Wollensen, Marc Ribot and Joey Baron. They don’t tour often—seize any opportunity to hear them play. There is an acoustic line up of Masada too. Albums are put out on the Tzadik label. Two parts of Karaim, a lengthy song, are below.
